The Doctor

Dr. Mitchell Falk, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Mitchell Falk of Spinal Care Center in Mullins SC 29574I grew up in norther New Jersey and decided to move to South Carolina because of the weather and the people are much friendlier in SC.

I received my degree of Doctor of Chiropractic 30 years ago and stayed on to teach for 6 more years while developing and running a practice in Spartanburg SC. I felt comfortable but unfulfilled. I wanted to help more people get well and stay well through Chiropractic care. Two friends from the Pee Dee area helped me get started. It was the right move for me!

Professionally I am well know throughout the state as the “go to” guy from information about how to practice Chiropractic. I served from 1994 to 2002 on the South Carolina State Board of Chiropractic Examiners with the honor of being chairman of the board. My duties were to make certain Chiropractic Care was safe for the residents of South Carolina.

I have been an active member of the South Carolina Chiropractic Association for over 30 years and have held position of Vice president, District Director and currently Chairman of the Seminar and Conventions committee.

I have a knack of helping people feel more comfortable in unknown and difficult situation. I pride myself in doing the absolutely the best I can in each and every situation.

Each patient has a problem that needs to be solved. I look at the problems as a breakdown of the normal mechanics of the spine and joints. My technique helps me find the mechanical dysfunction and produce a solution that “fixes” the problem and takes way the pain instead of just temporarily getting the pain to go away. Even more than pain, my patient’s find that their body functions better after our adjustive procedures as we work to remove the nerve pressure (we call it a subluxation) that originally caused the problem.

My patient’s enjoy the different therapies that we employ to prepare their problem to taken care of much easier and to help the good effects to last longer. We have programs and therapies for many other types of problems from Disc De-Compression to Laser, from Massages from Karri Parsons, our massage therapist to computerized, extra gentle adjustments from our PulStar Computerized Adjusting Tool. Patient also enjoy Nutritional Consultations and can work out in our own in house gym on the premises.

Patient’s often meet old friends in our office and many times make new friends. It is gratifying to me to be in such a homey environment.

I have been involved in helping with the Sherman College of Chiropractic, Spartanburg, SC as an instructor and associate Professor and locally Dr. Roger Roff of Dillon, SC. I was involved with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners reviewing and writing test questions and administering the National Board Test.

I get excited about learning new way to help old problems bringing new ideas on how to help old problems.

I am passionate about helping sick and injured people get well and back to life.

My favorite activities when I'm not at work is to spend time with my family (daughters and Grands) and I love getting out to ride my Harley

I currently volunteer at theLions Club as well as the school board and Rotary club.

I love being involved in the Patriots Program, helping our military that have been injured.
